Driving
If you are approaching from the north (London / M25 / M26 / M20), you'll come through Headcorn Village. About half a mile after leaving the village, take a left at the crossroads (signposted for Headcorn Airfield).
We don't normally have parking available at our premises, so parking is in the main airfield car park, which is signposted from the road. This is normally the first left turn after the vets, next to Wings bar, but when large events are taking place may be signposted to a different area.
If we have told you that there will be parking at our building when you visit, continue further along the main road, past the no entry / staff only car park, and we are at the next left turn - look for the green RVP sign. Our building is the first one, with the parking spaces between the building and the wall next to the road. If we've said you can park here, you can park behind any other vehicles and block them in (there is usually a motorhome and a car).
If you are parking near us, please do not park in the entrance anywhere in front of the gate (it is used by fuel trucks and emergency vehicles), or in front of the fire hydrant.
Train
There is a direct train line from London Charing Cross to Headcorn Station in the village. From the station you can get a taxi to the airfield, a bus to the end of the road, or in the summer it's possible to walk. To avoid the main road, walk along Smarden Road until you reach the bridleway train track crossing. At the other end of the bridleway, you'll need to cross the active runway, so take care! You'll come out at the vets, leaving a short walk along Shenley Road to get to us.
Some of our staff live in Headcorn Village, so depending on when you're arriving, we might be able to offer you a lift to or from the airfield. Let us know if you are arriving by train, and we'll see what we can do to help.
Walking (from Skydive Headcorn DZ)
From flight line head past manifest following signs for the museum and towards the DZ vans / emplaning point. At the end of the path (when you reach Aero Legends), turn right, and go past the gate. We are on the left just after the gate, near the main road. If the area around the gate is difficult to pass (if it's too muddy), you can also walk the short distance along the road from the DZ staff car park to the RVP entrance.
Opening Hours
Our opening hours are seasonal, based on demand and the opening hours of Skydive Headcorn who operate next door.
Our opening hours are published on Google, which are always up-to-date. If no hours are shown, then we are on winter shutdown, and you will need to contact us to arrange a visit by appointment. View opening hours
Summer
During the summer, we aim to be open as often as possible to serve skydivers jumping at Skydive Headcorn. We are typically open more often in the mornings, but our exact hours will vary from time to time based on staff availability. Check our opening hours on our Google business profile, or if you're jumping at the DZ just pop over. If you're travelling specifically to visit us, we still recommend contacting us in advance, so we can ensure there will definitely be someone available to meet you.
Winter
During the winter (typically November - March), we tend not to operate regular opening hours, as this is our opportunity for staff to take a well earned break after a busy summer season. We still work during this time, and will still answer your calls and emails and dispatch online orders, however we will work from home more often. You are still welcome to visit us during these months, but please contact us to arrange an appointment, and we will confirm our availability and come in on the agreed date to meet you.
